Installing on the Peninsula is a different job
A garage door installed on the Monterey coast has to survive salt air, coastal fog, wind-driven moisture, and - in a lot of Peninsula neighborhoods - architectural review. Any of those alone changes the spec sheet. Together they mean an install that looks identical to an inland install on paper is a very different job in the driveway.
Thirty years installing on the Peninsula means we know what corrodes fast, what HOAs will approve, and what actually holds finish over a decade of marine exposure. That's the difference between a Monterey install that still looks and runs new at year eight and one that's already showing rust bloom at year three.
